Bulk import
Loading many records at once from a file or a list, instead of adding them one by one.
A bulk import takes a file or a pasted list and creates many records in one pass: a watchlist of twenty competitors, a roster of crew contacts, a quarter of planned content.
It is worth reaching for at the point where manual entry starts changing your behaviour. If tracking a competitor properly means adding twenty channels and you add four because the form is tedious, the interface has just made your analysis worse.
The thing to check before a bulk import is what happens to duplicates and to rows that fail. An import that silently skips six of forty rows leaves you with a set you believe is complete and isn't. That is more dangerous than an import that refuses outright.
